Challenge: As a part of my master’s research I needed to understand the minimum viable anthropomorphism required to simulate the human face in robotics and still get a fairly reliable emotional reaction.
Solutions: Conduct a series of experiments analyzing and understanding eye movement, gestures, gazing, focus and expression.
Results: A comprehensive summary of the eyes and a list of minimal requirements needed to give a human-like robotic effect.
